About Me

Born in west Texas and raised in south Texas, Susan makes her home in a 100-year-old farmhouse in a small east Texas town that comes complete with a female ghost who harmonizes from time to time with her son when he plays guitar.

Susan is married, with three children and four grandchildren. Her family is rich with characters, both past and present. She spent her childhood listening to her grandmother’s stories of living on a farm in Oklahoma Territory with three sisters and three brothers and working as a telephone operator in the early 20th century. Her father shared stories of growing up in San Antonio in the depression, and through her mother’s eyes she experienced how it felt to be a teenager during WWII.

Her newest, In My Own Shadow, is a Fantasy adventure/romance. Her first book, Not Long Ago, is a time travel adventure/romance. Both ebooks are available through MuseItUp/Amazon/B&N. She is currently working on a sequel to Not Long Ago, because her daughter insisted there was still more of Erin and Griffin’s story to tell, and she was right.

  3. Thank you so much, Sue. It’s taken a lot of time and energy, but it’ been a wonderful experience. Thanks for stopping by.

  4. I really like your blog – it’s really interesting and fun the way you have movies and recipes, brilliant 🙂 I have never seen either of the Sabrina films, but I think I want to now 🙂 I love Frequency and Sommersby.
I wondered if you ever do any vegan recipes to go with films? I’d love to see them! 😀

    • Hi Miranda! Thanks so much for stopping by. I really should feature some vegan recipes, but first I need to do some research. I must confess I’ve neglected my blog due to some major changes in my life, but stay tuned. I’ll be sharing some of them soon with pictures. I also have a list of movies I want to review. Thanks again. Susan
